This session was hot fire flames, ya’ll! This woman brought her A game and the prettiest lingerie. My Makeup Artist, Aryan, worked her magic; not that it was work – K is a natural born goddess. This shoot was my first full-on Boudoir shoot and I have to say I am HOOKED. It is honestly such a fun and amazing thing to be a part of and I feel so honored by K’s words describing her experience:
“I felt empowered and beautiful during the shoot and it had everything to do with Joy’s confidence in me, the music playlist (special thanks to The Weeknd, lol), the extensive list of well-thought-out poses, the gorgeous studio, and Joy’s calming presence. The professional makeup artist for the shoot was a huge boost to my confidence in my appearance. I don’t think I have ever felt so empowered or confident in my body!”
Like many woman Ms. K has insecurities about parts of her body:
“My biggest fear with hiring Joy had nothing to do with her as a photographer. In fact, I absolutely love her photography style. Everything she posts on social media is inspiring and lovely. My biggest fear was if I would look good in a boudoir style photo shoot. I feared that I would not appear confident in the photos because I am insecure about certain parts of my body. The exact opposite is portrayed in my photos though!”
I’m so glad she didn’t let her fears stop her from booking this shoot with me! She showed up for herself and rocked this session.

“Joy makes you feel so comfortable throughout the entire process. Everything is so well organized too… from the studio to the professional makeup artist to her posing cues and everything in between. She has a ton of poses for you to do that make you look HOT and she explains or demonstrates how to do them properly. Oh, and she sends you extensive lists of outfit ideas, guidelines, and tips before the shoot too that are so helpful. I had so much fun taking photos with Joy and would not have felt as comfortable with anyone else.”
